If you are in one network you can always share files with the other users within the network. Folders in the My Documents Folder can not be shared unless it is in the shared folder and so as folders on the desktop. There are two ways on how you will share your folder. This first type of sharing is a type of sharing where users within the network can only copy the file or execute the file. To do it go to the folder you want to share and by clicking mouse 2 or right click on the folder click properties and click the sharing tab.

If you want users to copy the files without any changes the you can just do it by checking the first box.  Then click OK.  To access the file from other users you can go to START and click RUN.  Type the name of the computer you want to access after a double back slash(\\) and click  OK one example is by typing \\weak where weak is the name of the computer I want to access. Before you can access the computer your firewall must be turned off.

or you can use the ip address \\192.168.250.234 or yo can see it by going to my network places and click view workgroup computers and click the PC you wannt to access.

And from here you can see the shared files from other computers.  And if you want them to change the files on your shared folder just check the 2nd check box.  From here other users within the network can make changes to the files and they can even delete it.  So be careful whatever files you are trying to share.
