I have a photoblog and run to a problem (HTTP error in uploading images) when I upgraded wordpress.  I searched online and found several solutions to it like editing the htaccess file but it was to no avail.  I solved my problem using the following steps: 1.  Downloaded latest version of wordpress at http://www.wordpress.org 2.  Extracted the files because it is in .zip format 3.  Opened my FTP client software which is filezilla 4.  Logged in and uploaded the folder
