Important Note: This is for experimental purposes only, buying the software is always the best option.

Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) is not a new stuff. Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) validation, the component that determines if the software is legitimate) had been mandatory for Office users who want to access Office Update or download add-ons such as free Office 2007 templates for a while, making available Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) crack, although the requirement had since been stopped, allowing everybody, legit or counterfeit, to download updates and freebies.

Office Genuine Advantage Notifications is another component of Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) that displays and shows persistent and nagging notification messages on the screens of PC which is checked to be running illegal copies of Office. Anyway, Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) Notifications will always come together with the validation component to determine the genuineness of the Office installed. It marks the first time Microsoft attempts to validate Office installation actively, similar to Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) for Windows operating system.

Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) Notifications had first been published as KB949810 update to Office users in Italy, Spain, Turkey and Chile in a small pilot program, which did not bring too much complaints due to small user base, except when WSUS (Windows Server Update Services) accidentally published it as critical updates for roughly 24 hours. Microsoft has slowly expanding Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) availability to more countries. According to Microsoft last August 26, 2009 Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) is now expanded to 13 more countries which includes United States of America (US), United Kingdom (UK), Peru, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Australia, Greece, Ireland, the Netherlands, Finland, Switzerland, India, and Taiwan, making it a total of 41 countries that subject to Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) validation.

KB949810 Office Genuine Advantage Notifications will be published through Windows Update and Microsoft Update, as “High Priority” update for Windows XP systems and “Important” update for Windows Vista and Windows 7 systems. The download of Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) Notifications is voluntary. Users can opt and choose to NOT install it. But once installed, Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) Notifications cannot be installed, and there is no option to temporarily or permanently stop notification messages from displaying.

KB949810 requires end-users to accept an EULA (End User License Agreement) before installation begins, even if the systems have Automatic Updates set to download and install all updates automatically. To prevent and stop Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) Validation and Notifications components to be installed, just deny the EULA.

According KB949810, once a computer has been determined to be running a copy of Office that has failed the Office Genuine Advantage validation process, a message will be displayed during Office program start up:

“This copy of Microsoft Office is not genuine.

Please excuse this interruption. This copy of Microsoft Office did not pass validation. Click Learn More for details and for help identifying the best way to get genuine Microsoft Office.

And, a toolbar will be added to non-genuine Office XP and Office 2003 programs or a ribbon element is added to non-genuine Office 2007 programs to display “This copy of Office is not genuine. Click here to learn more”.

Office Genuine Advantage Notifications (KB949810) will be published all systems with Microsoft Office XP, Office 2003, Office 2007 or upcoming Office 2010 suites or applications program.

To remove the added menu and notification download the file and follow the instructions provided in the text file with the package.

If you are having troubles on on how to remove your Microsoft Windows Genuine Advantage Notification then you can visit the link provided (though there is also a way in solving windows media player validation included in the package)but if you have troubles in validating your windows media player 11 then this is the right post for you.

In the past weeks my friend asked me of his problem regarding his windows media player’s validation. He was able to download the software but before you can install it you need to have it validated. He installed Winamp as a substitute for his media player but I was thinking that it is not necessary to install another Media Player. I solved the problem by downloading this file and first thing to do is just doubles click the registry file and then install the set-up file.

windows media player validation.rar

You can restart your computer or you may not then you can now fully use your Genuine windows media player 11. Note: This is only for experimental purposes buying the Microsoft software is always the best option.

<p align=justify">Yesterday I bought a new s10 notebook and I always disable the auto-run because most virus today can infiltrate to your system through “autoruns”. When I entered gpedit.msc on the notebook an error prompted that gpedit.msc is not on my system. So I research around the net on how to install it. Its a good thing that I found several resources but sad to say when I navigate to gpedit.msc it was on different language and the policies are incomplete. I can only see the windows media player on system components where the auto-run should be.

<p align=justify">
I want to share this files and its the one that I have been using and works like charm to my system. It’s on English language and the Group Policies are complete. Below are the steps that you should follow to avoid any errors on your system.

<p align=justify">
1. download the files here.

2. extract the files on your computer. You should see 2 folders in it. 1 folder is named gpedit files and the other is GroupPolicy.

3. Copy this and paste on Run %SystemRoot%\system32 or you can navigate to c: >> windows >> system 32 with this oath on the address bar C:\WINDOWS\system32.

4. Copy the files inside gpedit files folder and paste in on system32 folder.

5. Copy the GroupPolicy folder and paste it on system32 folder

6. Go to run and type CMD or open the command prompt

7. Enter the following commands on the command prompt one by one:

regsvr32 gpedit.dll
regsvr32 fde.dll
regsvr32 gptext.dll
regsvr32 appmgr.dll
regsvr32 fdeploy.dll

8. Now go to run and type gpedit.msc, you can now set the policy on your windows xp computer.

Operating system such as Microsoft Windows has the autorun enabled by default. When you try to connect external drives from your computer this usually prompts a user Interface wherein you are given a choice to explore the folders inside it or you will use installed software on your operating system such as windows media player. One good thing about this is that you will no longer navigate to any software and go to the external drives directory and manually open the files. This is one great feature that Microsoft(especially Windows XP), but this is also a very big threat to the security of you your computer. Most Virus especially worms today have much improved with the use of an autorun file that will automatically execute the virus files upon connecting the device in your computer.

To prevent this from happening you need to disable autorun on your computer. And how do you do that? Its really simple and anybody who uses windows XP can do this even my 8 year old cousin can do it. Here are the steps you need to do so that you can disable the autorun in your computer.

Open the gpedit.msc application and this can be done by going to the Start >> Run. Then type gpedit.msc and press enter. gpedit.msc is a built in application of windows xp which can be found in your system32 folder. gpedit.msc is a group policy which controls access to your computer’s applications and other stuff. after opening gpedit.msc you should open the under User Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> System the on the right side you can see Turn Off Autoplay. Open it and the enable the policy and set it to all drives. By then autorun will be disabled every time you connect an external device on your computer. Below is the image on how to disable autorun by using the gpedit.msc application.

Disabling autorun on your computer is one big help especially when you use external devices and connect it from one PC to the other. This will prevent computer virus from running on your computer without any of your permission. Aside from disabling your computers autorun, the most important thing to do is always keep your antivirus up to date. This will surely prevent your computer from any attacks.

Look around you, be aware of natures unseen danger and these are GERMS. Yes, germs can harm us and can cost us a lot of money for hospitalization. How germs are transmitted from one place to another? Most germs are spread through the air in sneezes or coughs or through bodily fluids like sweat, saliva, semen, vaginal fluid, or blood, and you yourself can transmit these germs to your family your best bet is to limit contact with those substances, as far as possible. But hugging, talking, and limiting contact to family members is the hardest thing to do especially when you are sick, you need to communicate with them so they can help you. I should say that the best bet is use the new ECOBOX, the new ecobox featuring ActivePure helps prevent the spread of germs by killing them on surfaces. Take control of the situation and don’t let the situation control you. Ecobox quietly sends a solution to the pollution, university studies say that ecobox can kill up to 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, and mold on surfaces.

For issues concerning starting up a green home based business and other related topics, play the EcoQuest game and know more about Ecoquest’s background here. While relaxing and playing the EcoQuest game, Ecobox is there to clean up the air . As the doctor say “prevention is better than cure”, so get one and be safe…

Are you tired of Microsoft windows genuine advantage notification, always telling you that your window is not genuine? Are you tired of having to wait for 5 seconds before you can logon to your computer and you badly needed a windows genuine validation tool to solve the problem? How badly do you need the windows xp activation software?

Are you tired of the windows notification pop up telling you that you may be a victim of a software counterfeiting? Has this notification changed your desktop to total black color? Are you thinking of formatting your computer? Remember you have files that you don’t want to lose.
What is this notification anyway?

Windows genuine advantage notification is Microsoft’s way of punishing people using pirated copy of windows xp. Therefore, if your computer always shows you that you may be a victim of software counterfeiting its right and you need to go and buy a genuine windows xp.

Windows genuine advantage notification occurs after you have updated your computer on the internet. Microsoft always runs a script that always checks for windows license. If your computer does not pass the test that is why you are notified.

If your version of Windows XP is not genuine and does not pass the validation schemes, you will not be able to download security patches from Windows Update, or install the latest version of Internet Explorer 7 and other software.

Recently Microsoft has even made the notification worse by changing your computer desktop color to black if your computer does not pass windows validation. This makes the notification more punishing and frustrating for users.

Declaimer: this article is not to encourage piracy but for the purpose of knowledge. Please make sure you buy a license window xp to be more secure with the operating system that you are using.

Well for you that bought pirated there are still other ways to remove the Windows Genuine Advantage Notification by means of a windows genuine validation tool, a free download for windows xp activation software or just simply by tweaking you operating system by following these steps in order to remove this black screen and the notification.

Windows tweak:

The first thing to do is you have to terminate the process form running on your computer secondly you have to change the name of the files that are running the process. Then change your desktop back to what you where using before.

Right click on your task bar, click on task manager, click process tab look for the process with the name “wgatray.exe” right click on it and click end process tree, a warning message will appear click yes, the process will be terminated. Then double click on my computer, double click drive C: double click windows folder, double click system 32 folder, look for two files, “wgatray.exe”. When you locate the file, right click on the file and rename them to whatever you want. Then restart your computer. Your computer should be in good state now.

Recently Microsoft has modified the notification such that if this notification also changes your computer wallpaper and background color to black. After removing the notification simply change you desktop wallpaper again.

Sometimes this modified windows genuine advantage notification also initiates the Wgatray.exe process immediately after you end the process. To solve this problem download process terminators that will kill it process permanently for you to be able to change the name of wgatray.exe in the system 32 folder.

If step one does not solve the problem you can simply download the windows xp activation software and run the software. This will surely help you with the problem. This is the windows genuine validation tool that will remove the Windows Genuine Advantage Notification and will change your pirated windows XP to be Genuine it also allows you to download updates for your windows operating system.

If you are having problems with your windows media player 11 validation you can download the file here to make your windows media player genuine with just few simple steps. Though in the package there is a software included that changes your Windows Media Player to be Genuine. If you are also having troubles with you Microsoft Office “Genuinity” then you can also download the file provided on the link below.

If you want to change you windows product key a tool is provided to for this together with a list of product keys you can use.

WGA Remover.rar

To succeed in removing the windows genuine notification follow the steps carefully, you can find the instructions in the readme.txt file. Like the installer provided before just click the installer.bat to solve the problem.

Did you find it not effective? I have a newer version here to download and it also includes the Microsoft Office Advantage Notification Crack. It’s 100% effective on both removing Office Genuine Advantage Notification and Windows Genuine Advantage Notification Removal.

WGA Remover.rar

Go to User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Start Menu and Taskbar. If you click on the Extended tab at the bottom of the screen, you’ll be shown a description of the setting that you’ve highlighted, along with an explanation of each of the options. Settings you can customize include showing the My Pictures icon, the Run menu, and the My Music icon on the Start Menu; locking the Taskbar so that it can’t be customized; and many others. To change a setting, double-click on it and choose the options from the menu it displays. There’s not room in this hack to go into detail about each of the settings you can change, so I’ll tell you about some of my favorites. I’ve never been a big fan of My Documents, My Pictures, and My Music. In fact, I never use those folders, so there’s no point having them on the Start Menu. The settings in the Group Policy Editor let you get rid of them. If you share your PC with other people, the Group Policy Editor is a great way to make sure that no one can change the Start Menu and Taskbar except you. So when you have the Start Menu and Taskbar working the way you like, they’ll stay that way until you want to change them. Enable “Prevent changes to Taskbar and Start Menu Settings,” and no one will be able to change their settings except you. Select “Remove Drag-and-drop context menus on the Start Menu,” and no one except you will be able to remove or reorder items on the Start Menu. You can even stop anyone else from shutting down Windows by selecting “Remove and prevent access to the Shut Down command.” <!--

Among the many entries here are a lot of pointless ones, by the way. You can remove the Log Off entry on the Start Menu, for example, which certainly isn’t high on my list of must-haves. But who knows, you may want to do that or any of the many other changes the Group Policy Editor allows. Go in there yourself and muck around; you’ll find plenty to change.
